For the couple with two venues and one thread

Jitabi Drafts Your Wedding Invitation from Your Story

Tell it the couple, the date and the venues in ordinary words, and it lays a full wedding page from your story. You keep shaping it by reply, then send the link to the family group.

    Your story is the seed

A wedding invitation is harder than most because the couple rarely has one fact to give; they have a story and a whole day attached to it. Jitabi handles that by treating your description as the seed. Write the two names, the date, the ceremony venue, the reception venue, a sense of the scale, and anything about how the day should read, and it drafts a wedding page around that story rather than a form you have to fill cell by cell.

Weddings are one of the occasions with a dedicated design on My Joyfullday, so what comes back is not a generic announcement — it carries the sections a wedding page needs, in the order guests expect them, with the story up front. Everything is yours to change by replying.

    How couples open the conversation

Two first messages and one edit, phrased the way a couple actually text.

    Everything at once
Hi Jitabi, we're getting married — Elena and Marco, 20 June. Ceremony at Villa Soave at four, dinner at La Vigna after. Around eighty people. Make us a wedding page with a reply button.
When one venue is a maybe
Hi Jitabi, marrying 20 June, ceremony confirmed at Villa Soave, reception venue not booked yet. Draft the page now and mark the reception to be confirmed with a fill-in date.
    An edit about the family
Three relatives keep asking about children. Add a line to the invitation saying little ones are welcome at the ceremony and the early dinner, then it becomes grown-ups for the evening.

What a wedding page ends up holding

    The couple and the day

Names, the date, and the shape of it — ceremony, drinks, dinner, dancing — written as an invitation rather than a list of times to decipher.

    Two venues, honestly marked

Directions and parking for each, so the ceremony address and the reception address never blur. A booked-but-not-yet venue stays flagged until you fill it by reply.

    The sections guests lean on

Dress code, a FAQ for the questions that always come, a photo gallery, and a countdown while the date is still ahead.

    Replies and the list

The reply button carries yeses, nos, plus-ones inside your cap and meal notes onto one guest list you can count without a spreadsheet.

Sending it to the family group

Wedding invitations travel through households, and the page is built for that.

    • One link, sent once: post the address to the family group and let the reply button do the counting; a household answers through whoever checks the messages.
    • Set the plus-one limit before sharing, so a partner means a partner and not a rumoured entourage arriving on the night.
    • If the list is closed, put a password on the page and send it to the invited names — the address alone then reaches a locked door, not the reply form.
    • Add a collaborator — a parent, the partner, the one organised friend — at their own access level so two people can mind replies.

    How it works

The wedding, from the first line to the seated number

Message the couple and the day

Names, date, ceremony and reception venues, rough scale. Say what is still open and the draft marks it as a plain placeholder you can fill later.

Shape the story and the sections

Reply until the welcome sounds like you and the FAQ answers the questions your families always ask. One message can carry several edits.

    Publish and send the link

Copy the myjoyfullday.site address into the family group and text it privately to the grandmother and the cousin travelling far. Same page, same list.

    Count answers as plans close

Replies, plus-ones and meal notes gather on the guest list while you settle catering elsewhere, and non-responders get a reminder later.

    Questions

Common questions about Jitabi wedding invitation

Is there a real wedding design or just generic text?

Weddings are a dedicated event type on My Joyfullday, with dozens of designs and the section set a wedding page actually needs. The chat drafts the page; the designs and full section controls are there when you open it in the app.

We have two venues. Can one page carry both?

Yes. Message both addresses and the page lays them out separately — ceremony here, reception there — each with its own directions. The address stays fixed if either venue changes later by reply.

Can we invite a family group with one link?

That is the normal way to send it. Post the link to the group and ask each household to reply once on the page. The plus-one limit you set keeps the count honest instead of growing by assumption.

Can we keep a guest from forwarding it too far?

You cannot stop a link being forwarded, but you can lock the door. Add a password to the page and share it with invited guests, so the address alone opens nothing for anyone you did not mean to invite.

My partner wants to help run the list. Is that possible?

Collaborators can be added at different access levels, so the two of you — or a parent keeping watch — can see replies and send reminders without sharing a login across a table.
