For the host with three different ways to reach people

One shower link, sent wherever your guests already look

One link carries the whole shower: date, address, registry, and a yes button. Send it by WhatsApp, email, or SMS, and watch replies land on a single list instead of scattered messages.

Your guest list does not live in one place. The cousins are in a WhatsApp family group, the parents' colleagues only read email, and an aunt will act on a text and nothing else. Sending the shower as three slightly different messages is how addresses drift and reply counts lie.

Every baby shower page on My Joyfullday gets a single live link. Send it however each guest prefers and they all open the same current page โ€” the date, the venue, the theme, the registry, and the reply button together. The channel changes; the invitation does not.

    Where the same link goes

One published link, distributed however suits each guest:

    • Pinned in the WhatsApp group, forwarded by the relatives who love a group.
    • Dropped into individual emails for the colleagues and the not-on-WhatsApp crowd.
    • Sent as an SMS to anyone who will open a text and nothing else.
    • Printed as a QR on paper cards for the guests who want something in the post.

Keeping the surprise, and keeping it current

    A password for the surprise

If the shower is secret, protect the page with a password. You share that password with invited guests, and anyone who stumbles on the link without it sees nothing.

    Plans change

The venue moves, the start time shifts. You edit the one page, and every guest who opens the link after your change reads the new details. No old address stays behind in a forwarded text.

    Replies find their way home

However the link was sent, each yes lands against a name on your single guest list, plus-ones and meal notes included, so the count is one honest number.

    Short ways to send it

The same link, three polite wrappers:

    For the WhatsApp group
One link for the whole shower so the details stop drifting โ€” date, address, and a yes button inside. Reply there and I can finally count properly.
    For email
The invitation for Marta's shower lives here: date, tea, a small registry if you'd like it, and a place to let us know you are coming.
For the surprise, with the password
For Lena's shower on the ninth โ€” nothing posted, just this link and the code we sent you. Use it quietly, we will keep the secret until the doors open.

    How it works

    Publish once, send everywhere

Create and publish the shower page

Sign up or let Jitabi draft it, fill the details, and publish so the link works for guests. A draft stays invisible until you do.

Protect it if the shower is a surprise

Switch on a password and share it only with the invited guests, keeping the page out of sight of anyone who finds the link early.

Send the link through every channel

WhatsApp, email, SMS, a printed QR โ€” same page for everyone, so nobody reads a stale forwarded copy.

    Update once if plans move

Change the venue or time on the page and every guest who opens the link later sees the corrected version, with replies still landing on your one list.

    Questions

Common questions about baby shower invitation link

Does the link work before I publish the page?

No. Until you publish, the page is a draft and guests see nothing. Send the link only after publishing, so the first person who opens it finds a finished invitation rather than an empty shell.

Can I keep the shower secret from the parents-to-be?

Yes. Protect the page with a password and share it only with invited guests. Anyone reaching the link without the password, including a curious recipient, cannot read the details.

If I forward it into a group chat, will people double-reply?

Replies attach to the guest's name, and plus-ones stay within the limits you set, so a forwarded link does not quietly double the headcount. A second reply for the same person is easy to see and reconcile on the list.

The address changed after I sent the link โ€” is that a problem?

Update the page and everyone who opens the same link afterwards sees the new address. The link never goes stale, which is the main reason to send a page rather than a hand-typed message.

Will the link look the same on each channel?

It is the same single page no matter where it is opened. The wrapper you write in a text or email is yours; the date, registry, and reply button on the page are identical for everyone.
