For hosts who plan away from a desk

Build a Party Website from Your Phone, No Laptop

Travelling, at work, queueing in a shop: message the details, watch the sections arrive, preview the page on your own screen, and send the link before you are anywhere near a keyboard.

Website builders assume a desk that may not be there

Most builders shrink badly onto a phone. Tabs multiply, drag handles need a mouse, and the project stalls until an evening at a laptop that never arrives. The planning does not wait, though โ€” the party comes together between errands, in the same place a host's whole social life already runs: WhatsApp.

Jitabi works the way the evening actually works. You message it the details and it drafts the event website; you reply with changes and it edits. The keyboard stays where you left it.

What fits on a page you built with both thumbs

    • An invitation that reads like a written invitation, not a form you half filled.
    • A schedule and the venue notes guests need โ€” directions, and a line about parking when there is one โ€” on supported event types.
    • An FAQ answered before the questions reach you in the chat.
    • A reply button, so every yes and no arrives on the guest list instead of in messages you reread.
    • A photo gallery, a countdown and a guestbook on occasions that have them.
    • A myjoyfullday.site link to paste into any chat, with an optional password for private events.

Why the phone suits this build

    The chat is the interface

Typing messages is already what phones are for. There is no file manager, no canvas to orientate, nothing sized for a screen you do not have with you.

    The draft arrives assembled

Nothing has to be dragged into place on a small display. The structure is decided in the app's work, and your part is the human one: does this read like the event?

The preview you check is the real one

You look at the page on a phone, so you see it the way your guests will โ€” most of them opening the link from the same app, on the same size of screen.

What the desk is still good for

Phone enough? For publishing an invitation, yes โ€” the page, the wording, the link and the guest list all work in the thread. Being straight about the rest: loading forty photos, untangling a long schedule, or setting up collaborators and access levels, all feel calmer in the web app, and the app's own AI drafting waits there for the same reasons. None of it is a prerequisite. A complete page that exists from a bus beats a perfect page waiting for a laptop.

    How it works

One hand, one thread, one published page

    Message the details between errands

Who, when, where, and anything about the shape of the day. One careful paragraph, sent while the queue moves.

Read the draft the way guests will

Open the page on your own phone and scroll it. Reply to Jitabi with fixes until the wording sits right.

    Publish and copy the link

The address comes from the same app you built the invitation in โ€” there is no export step and no laptop gatekeeping it.

Follow the list from your pocket

Replies arrive as you go about the day; the guest list and the reminders to non-responders are openable from the same screen.

    Questions

Common questions about party website from phone

Do I need to install an app to do this?

No. Jitabi lives in WhatsApp, and the pages it builds open in any browser โ€” for you and for your guests. There is nothing to download for either side.

Can I edit the page from my phone after guests have the link?

Reply with the change and the page updates; that is the same conversation you started with. The link does not move, so everyone who opens it afterwards reads the current version.

Will the page look right on guests' phones?

Guests open the link in the browser on whatever phone they hold, press the reply button there, and land on the same page you previewed on yours. The experience is one screen wide at both ends.

What about adding lots of photos from my phone?

Supported occasions carry a photo gallery. A picture or two is a browser job anywhere; if you want the whole camera roll in, a computer pass is the comfortable way. The page never waits on it to go live.

Can I keep this private while working from my phone in public?

Until you publish, nobody sees the page โ€” drafts are hidden from guests by default. And a published page can carry a password, so a link glanced over a bus seat is not an open door.

    Get Started

The queue is short; the invitation does not need to be long

One paragraph sent from a phone becomes a complete party website. Check it on the screen you are holding, publish, and paste the link.
