The bride is in almost every group we share. How do we keep this from her?
Invite through a group she is not in, or a private thread just for the hens, and keep the page password-protected. The link alone reveals nothing to anyone without the word, which is exactly what the tool is for.
Some hens only come for one day. How does that reply?
Ask on the form which days each person covers. The live list then shows the weekend in layers โ Friday drinks, Saturday dinner, Sunday brunch โ so the bookings match the crowd rather than the loudest guess.
Is there a dedicated hen-party template?
No. Hen weekends use the same page machinery as any gathering. The wedding library exists if you want a family look, and the schedule, the dress task and the replies matter far more than a template built for stag weekends.
Can we collect money for the weekend on the page?
The gift collection records sender and message with what arrives, which suits a shared gift or a contribution pot. Treat it as the presents version rather than a payment system, and keep any spending decisions honest in the group.
What about the bridal shower as its own event?
It gets its own page, same as any gathering: its replies, its deadline, its guest list. Keeping the shower and the hen weekend as separate pages stops two different crowds and two different sets of secrets colliding on one list.
Two of us edit the plan every week. Can we both run the page?
Add the co-organiser as a collaborator with the access level the two of you agree. One holds the schedule edits, the other manages replies and reminders, and no decision lives in a chat message nobody saw.
