For whoever's marking the year

An anniversary party website for years worth marking properly

A tenth, a twenty-fifth, a golden anniversary gathers people from across decades. Put the evening on one page, invite everyone who was there from the start, and track who raises a glass in reply.

A proper plan beats a vague group chat

The people worth inviting to an anniversary span decades โ€” friends from before the couple met, relatives who drove the distance last time, colleagues from a different chapter of their working life. A group chat buries the details, and half of the guest list won't even be in it. One page that the whole list can open does the job instead, and stays true when the venue or the time moves.

There is no dedicated anniversary design in My Joyfullday yet. You start from the closest celebration setup and change every word to the occasion, and the tools come with it: a shareable event page, replies tracked against names, reminders for the quiet ones, and a place for guests to upload photographs. A birthday or wedding gathering uses the same machinery, which is exactly what an anniversary evening needs.

What an anniversary evening has to hold

    A guest list across decades

Some guests are in the couple's daily life; others haven't been seen in years. Each person replies against their own name, so you can see who's confirmed from each era and send a gentle reminder to the ones who've gone quiet while there's still room to plan.

    The evening plan, written plainly

Arrival, dinner, a toast, maybe a few words from the children. Spell out roughly how the night runs so people know when to arrive and when to sit, and so the guest who was asked to speak realises there's a moment set aside for it.

A memory wall made from photographs

Ask guests to send pictures ahead of the day and let them upload them through the page; a table QR code collects more on the night itself. Gathered together, those photographs become the memory wall โ€” decades of faces lined up along one table.

What to put on the page

The list a guest checks before they reply, in one glance on their phone.

    • Whose anniversary it is and how many years you're marking.
    • The date, start time, venue, and address.
    • How the evening runs โ€” drinks, dinner, toasts, and roughly when.
    • Any dress note, and whether the couple is being surprised.
    • The invitation to send a photograph ahead of the day.
    • The reply-by date and a line on who's on the list.

    Wording for the anniversary page

Write to the whole room at once โ€” the ones who've seen the couple every week and the ones who haven't in years.

    The invitation
Fifty years, one weekend, everyone who mattered along the way. We're marking Ingrid and Lars' golden anniversary on Saturday 6 September, and we'd love you there.
    The memory request
Before the day, send us a photograph you remember โ€” from the wedding, the early years, anywhere in between. You can upload it right here on this page.
    The evening plan
Drinks from 5:00pm, dinner at 7:00, and the toasts somewhere around 9:00. We'll keep the music on long after.

    How it works

Building the anniversary page from what's already there

    Choose the closest setup

Start from the nearest celebration type in the app, since there's no anniversary design yet, and rewrite the headline, the story, and the details to name the couple and the year you're marking.

Add the plan and the photo ask

Lay out the running order โ€” drinks, dinner, toasts โ€” and add a line inviting guests to send photographs. Turn on guest uploads and put the table QR code on the page so the memory wall fills as the night goes.

Send one link across the decades

Share the single link however each group prefers โ€” WhatsApp, email, a printed card for the relatives who don't open either. Everyone lands on the same details and replies to the same list.

    Track replies and update once

Confirmations tick names off as they arrive, and reminders reach whoever's gone quiet. If the venue or time changes, edit it on the page so the whole list reads the corrected version.

    Questions

Common questions about anniversary party website

Is there an anniversary party template?

No dedicated anniversary design exists yet. You begin from the closest celebration setup and write your own plan onto it. That setup carries the tools an anniversary needs: a shareable page, replies tracked against names, reminders, and guest photo uploads for the memory wall.

How do we collect photographs before the party?

Add a line on the page inviting guests to upload a picture they remember. People can send them ahead, and a table QR code lets guests add more on the night. Gathered in one place they become the wall you'd otherwise assemble from a hundred texts.

Can we keep the anniversary a surprise?

Protect the page with a password and share it only with the guests you trust to stay quiet. The couple sees nothing until you tell them, and everyone invited opens the same page once they have the code.

How do I chase the relatives who never reply?

Because replies sit against names, you can see exactly who hasn't answered. Send reminders to those names without repeating yourself to the ones who already said yes โ€” which suits elderly relatives who mean to reply and simply forget.

Will the page give the caterer a real number?

It gives you a count you can trust. Each reply adds up the people confirmed and any companions within your limits, so you can commit to a catering number weeks ahead instead of guessing from who sounded enthusiastic.
